Conversation between Adam and I that occurred on his birthday:
Adam: I can't believe that I'm 8!
Me: Cool, huh?
Adam: Yeah. And now I get to be baptized.
Me: Yep.
Adam: And all of my sins will be washed away.
Me: Yeah . . .
Adam: Like that lie I told you just the other day . . .
Me: Uhhh . . . what lie?
Adam: It doesn't matter because as soon as I'm baptized it will be gone forever.
Me: Adam? What lie are you talking about? Adam? Adaaaaaaammm??!? (as he happily runs off in the other direction)
