Conversation with Noah

Date: Sept 8, 2009 (today)
Time: approximately 9:00 a.m.
Place: our kitchen (right after breakfast)

Me: Noah, I'm going to go get in the shower.
Noah: Why?
Me: Because I'm dirty and I need to get clean.
Noah: But you're not dirty.
Me: Sure I am. I need to shower so that I can get ready for the day.
Noah: But you don't play in the dirt field. And you don't play with the bugs. And you don't get in the dirty water. You just get in the car and go to Wal-Mart. That doesn't make you dirty.

Nice to know that is what my life is reduced to as far as he is concerned.

Although, I have to admit that I feel like I need to take a shower after I go to Wal-Mart. At least the one here. :)

Hey, I'll take that any day over a kid telling me I stink or have smelly breath.

Be glad you're on the good side of that comparison.

And I definitely agree with MJ. Sometimes the WalMart here makes me want to bathe in hand sanitizer.

Not 2 minutes after I read this post, I found this Web site: People of Walmart.

It doesn't always load, and one of the first images is a lady with a swear word on her hat, so click with caution.

But, I thought it was fitting after your post.
