We've got our travel date!

I'm not going to have access to a computer for a few days but I wanted to quickly let everybody know that I just got off the phone with the travel agent and the flights to bring Noah home are booked! Phil will leave on November 1st and arrive in Port au Prince on the 2nd. He will stay at the orphanage with Noah for a few days and then they will both head home on November 6th. My sister - bless her heart - picked up on all of Phil's cues that he really didn't want to have to make the return trip by himself with a two-year-old that doesn't know him so she volunteered to meet them in Florida on the 6th and fly back to Utah with them. I'm a little jealous that they will be making the trip without me, but so grateful that she is doing this for us. She keeps telling me that she wants to do this as much for her as for us, but I know that it's a huge sacrifice. Now Phil and I can be a little more relaxed knowing that there will be some extra loving hands helping out with Noah the entire way home. I am already imagining what it will be like when they all come down the escalator at the airport. Don't worry - I'll post lots of pictures!

I'm actually quite good at picking up on the cues. He really only gave one so I had to be on top of my game! Another person may not have picked up on it as quickly as I did, but I'm a genius that way. One day Phil said, "Why don't you meet me in Florida and help me on the airplane with Noah?!" I know, I know.... I'm smooth!

I believe in Phil's capabilities more than most fathers and have absolutely NO doubt that he'd do just great all by himself. This trip is something I've looked forward to for a while and I'm so fortunate to be able to go. I consider it such a privilege to be able to meet this little guy even a few days sooner than I would otherwise. We love him so much and can't bond with him soon enough.

Thanks for the opportunity to allow me to be a part of such an amazing event!! We love you all so much.
