When you wish upon a star . . .

So I was sitting next to Adam on the piano bench a little while ago, urging him to practice, practice, practice. It was a less than successful session and we were both getting extremely frustrated. Adam finally turned to me and said, in a very aggravated tone, "The next time I see a shooting star I'm going to wish that I never have to take piano lessons again!"

Oh, the memories. I'm sure I said the same thing to my mom on more than one occasion during my years of piano lessons.

The reason I can't play the piano now is when my dad passed away, I used that as the reason/excuse to stop playing the piano. I hated practicing the piano. Kind of wish now that I would have continued.
